1. Introduction

Welcome to Indikationen@PEU ("we," "our," "us"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our web-based application ("App"). By accessing or using our App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our App.

2. Definitions

• User: An individual who accesses and uses the App.
• Content: Any data, text, graphics, software, or other information provided or accessible through the App.
• Account: The user’s account created for accessing the App.

3. Use of the App

3.1 Eligibility

Eligibility: You must be a health professional AND authorized user with an email address ending in @usz.ch to access the App.

3.2 Account Registration

To access certain features of the App, you must register and create an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, complete, and current.

3.3 Use Restrictions

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any local, national, or international law.
• Exploit the App for commercial purposes without authorization.
• Interfere with or disrupt the App or servers or networks connected to the App.

4. Content and Updates

4.1 Content Ownership

All Content provided in the App is the property of Universitätsspital Zürich (USZ) or its licensors. The Content is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

4.2 Back-End Updates

Owners have the right to update the back-end content, and these updates will be reflected in the App interface immediately.

5. Data Protection and Privacy

5.1 Data Collection

We collect and process personal data in accordance with Swiss data protection laws. For detailed information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

5.2 Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of your data. This includes encryption for sensitive data and secure data transmission.

7. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights related to the App, including but not limited to software, trademarks, and logos, are owned by Universitätsspital Zürich (USZ) or its licensors. You may not use any of these without prior written consent.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Universitätsspital Zürich (USZ) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, without prior notice.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Zürich, Switzerland.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective when posted on the App. Your continued use of the App after any changes signifies your acceptance of the updated Terms.
